Highlighting the importance of reducing carbon footprint, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud endorsed paper-free work at the Supreme Court of India.  
“We have to take it further...I hope that we continue this movement so that we do away with paper. It is not just about reducing the carbon footprint but making our processes more efficient, seamless, and accountable and it is better to monitor various stages in the process in the Registry. So, we are continuing with our mission to make our operations completely paperless," said the CJI.
