Ronnie Montrose was the guitarist
Ronnie Montrose was the guitarist and founding member of his bands Montrose and Gamma. He created some of the best sounding songs of early 70's hard rock. Along with Sammy Hagar, they teamed up to write songs for the Montrose debut album that are still considered timeless in hard rock & roll. He was a studio musician and producer.
