I Kept 3 Types of Isopod Together for 3 Years, and This Happened!

Almost 3 years ago, I put Porcellio laevis ‘California Mix’, Porcellio cf. laevis ‘Orange’, and Porcellio aff. laevis ‘Milkback’ together, not only to have a colorful mix of pet isopods, but also to observe the results. At the time, it was not certain if these were all the same isopod species. We now know that Porcellio aff. laevis ‘Milkback’ is NOT the same species.
Isopods of different species will usually end up in competition, and one will often eventually outcompete the others. Observe what happened in this interesting case!
