What a great headlamp. Unbelievable brightness and color tone. I have used some really poor headlamps, but this unit is way better than any I have ever used. 300-475 lumens and the Milwaukee TrueView light makes this a clear winner.
Run Times:
Spot Light: tested twice first time 3hr 52 min
second 3hr 20 min
Spot and Flood: 2hr 24 min
Flood High: 4hr 15 min
Flood Med: 8hr 15 min
The light consistently did not make the full advertised run time with the exception being spot and flood together.
The light has a rubber strip on the back of the bracket that makes it comfortable enough to wear on your forehead. It is a little heavy, but not too bad, especially considering how well it blasts the light.
As with any do-it-yourself project, unfamiliarity with the tools and process can be dangerous. This video should be construed as non expert, informational advice.
