ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਜ਼ਿਮਨੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਵੱਡੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਹੁਣ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਝਟਕਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਹੀ  ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ  ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਿਮਾਇਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਝਟਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
