ऐरोली ते काटई नाक्यापर्यंतचा प्रवास
ऐरोली ते काटई नाक्यापर्यंतचा प्रवास अवघ्या १० मिनिटांत पूर्ण होण्याच्या उद्देशाने तयार करण्यात येणाऱ्या उन्नत आणि पारसिक डोंगराखालून जाणाऱ्या भुयारी मार्गाचा पहिला टप्पा सप्टेंबर २०२१पर्यंत पूर्ण होणार आहे. ठाणे-बेलापूर मार्ग ते मुंब्रा बायपास मार्ग थेट जोडण्यासाठी पारसिक डोंगरातून बोगदा खोदून भुयारी मार्ग तयार करण्यात येत आहे. मुंबई-पुणे एक्स्प्रेस वेवरील सर्व बोगद्यांपेक्षा जास्त लांबीचा भुयारी मार्ग अशी या भुयारी मार्गाची नवी ओळख निर्माण होणार आहे. या प्रकल्पाच्या सद्यस्थितीचा आढावा खासदार श्रीकांत शिंदे यांनी एमएमआरडीएच्या वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत पाहणी करून घेतला.
The first phase of the elevated and parsic underpass, which aims to travel from Airoli to Katai Nakaya in just 10 minutes, will be completed by September 2021. A subway is being constructed by digging a tunnel through the Parsik Hills to directly connect Thane-Belapur Road to Mumbra Bypass Road. The new identity of this subway is going to be created as the subway is longer than all the tunnels on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. MP Shrikant Shinde reviewed the current status of this project along with senior officers of MMRDA.
