I used to buy these from a local bakery before deciding to try and make it for myself. This recipe, is similar with a sweet bread I used to make for years and, this gave me the courage to try. The result was so much better than what I used to buy, I will do it again for sure.
What is totally delicious in this recipe is the rum flavour in the filling. The alcohol evaporates during baking leaving an unbelievable flavour.  You can't buy something like that anywhere.
