Red Dead Redemption 2: How to get the Dark Bay Turkoman from the Braithwaites

You get only one chance
You get only one chance to acquire the Dark Bay Turkoman horse for Arthur, which is otherwise unavailable to him, from the Chapter 3 mission “Horse Flesh for Dinner”. It will be unlocked after you’re done serving drinks as Fenton.
You need two things before starting the mission, the Shark Tooth Trinket (Red Dead Redemption 2: How to get the...) which speeds up bonding with horses and 9 sugar cubes (10 if you don’t have the Shark Tooth trinket) from any stable.
Play the mission normally till you’re told to talk to the horse fence, Cleet. At this point approach the Turkoman (you can’t miss it among the three horses you stole), face it and open up your menu wheel to access horse provision. Feed all the sugar cubes to the horse, making sure you don’t feed the others. DO NOT stop when you achieve horse bonding level 1, you have to feed once more for the temporary horse icon to show up on your HUD and it’s a requirement for the method to work.
After that talk to Cleet and complete the mission. You’ll see the temporary horse icon grayed out on your HUD, so ride to the fence and you’ll see the Turkoman standing there.
At this point you can’t put your saddle on the horse. Make a manual save and reload it, put on your saddle and you have Cerberus all for yourself.
