Spartan™ AR500 Omega™ Body Armor Special Threat Testing - Spartan Armor Systems

We pushed our Spartan™ AR500 Omega™ Body Armor to its limits at Oregon Ballistics Lab in Salem, OR during a "Special Threat" testing session. While level III body armor criteria typically focuses on .308 WIN impacts, we took testing to the next level by incorporating 5.56 SS109/M855 which is known to pierce body armor due to the increased velocity/speed of the round. Our AR500 Omega™ Body Armor passed V50 testing with flying colors!
