Ok so, if you don’t know who Jalaiah Harmon is she’s the mastermind behind the dance that has literally taken over social media. She just recently received credit Renegade, which was widely popularized by Charli and Addison, and the NBA all star game brought all the creators together to finally meet and collab!
Jalaiah created the dance to K-camps Lottery and after it blew up K-camp tweeted this video thanking her for helping his song go viral.
Meanwhile Charli and Addison were invited to perform at the NBA all-star game, which is a huge achievement! Once the twitterverse KNEW who created everyone’s favorite dance there was a movement to add her to the performance line up!
Now if you’re wondering if there was any bad blood between the girls the answer is NO! In a recent profile with the New York Times Jalaiah explained that she WAS excited to see her dance all over but wanted the credit she deserved and that she didn’t harbor any ill feelings towards Charli and hoped they could collaborate one day!
Charli’s publicist responded to the times on her behalf saying she was “so glad to know” who created the dance.
AND shared QUOTE: “I know it’s so associated with me, but I’m so happy to give Jalaiah credit and I’d love to collaborate with her.”
Flash forward to the All-star game and this moment finally became a reality, take a look at the moment the girls met for the first time..
And then they took things to the next level performing the ORIGINAL renegade choreography together!
