[4K] Mardi Gras Crowning of the Krewes Full Show at Thorpe Park, join us for a party like no other to vote for the best Krewe performing on stage. Who would you vote for, watch all four acts and see if you agree with the crowd.
The Crowning of the Krews show starts the Thorpe Park Mardi Gras event everyday at midday. This show is similar to Who Headlines? You Decide show from the Chessington World of Adventures Wilderfest Event. The acts go on stage and perform a song and the crowd cheers for the favourite. This is just a bit fun and a great way to start the Mardi Gras celebrations.
The four Krewes are Aqueous, Nemesina, Rapid Rhymer and Rift Racer.
Mardi Gras is a brand new event for 2022 at Thorpe Park Resort Theme Park. The Thorpe Park Mardi Gras is a Carnival style event adding shows, parades and food stalls.

Thorpe Park Mardi Gras Parade
Starting next at Depth Charge, past Tidal Wave and continuing to Nemesis Inferno around to Rumba Rapids where it turns round and goes back the same route.
There are also 2 new Mardi Gras food stalls
Mardi Gras East Stall - By the entrance to Tidal Wave
Mardi Gras North Stall - By the Storm in a Tea Cup Ride
The existing food outlets will also be offering food with a New Orleans Mardi Gras Carnival twist.
Peckish, Sombrero’s Street Food, Inferno’s Pizza Pasta Buffet, Wilderness Bar and Kitchen, Coffee Shack and Donut Factory
Thorpe Park is operated and owned by Merlin Entertainments and includes rides, a themed hotel, live events and Stealth, the UK's fastest rollercoaster.
Major attractions include a large water ride, Tidal Wave, a number of rollercoasters including Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, Saw: The Ride, The Swarm, The Walking Dead: The Ride and Flying Fish. Other smaller attractions include a water area called Amity Beach and an Angry Birds themed land. It also has on-site accommodation, the Thorpe Shark Cabins.
The latest attraction is Black Mirror, opened in May 2021 although High Striker has opened since, this a rethemed Lumber Jump. Project Exodus is currently under construction which will feature the tallest coaster in the United Kingdom.
