Batam Marriott Harbour Bay 5-Star Hotel Review

Come explore Asia's newest Marriott, the 5-star fabulous Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay! Together we'll tour my gorgeous poolside suite, spend time with chefs in the kitchen, enjoy a relaxing breakfast in bed, and indulge in their Saturday night fresh seafood feast. This gorgeous seaside property is only in soft-opening but already I can report that it has the single best (and freshest!) food and beverage offering of any of the big 5-star hotels on the island thanks to Executive Chef Francesco Grecco. He has visited all of the farms on Batam and many across Indonesia and is sourcing their fresh (never frozen) meats, fish, shellfish, veg, and artisan cheeses in true farm-to-table style.

PRO TIP: don't miss their cheese platter with fresh cheese by Indonesian artisan cheesemakers. Ohhh and they also make fresh artisan bread, so if you live here on Batam, stop in and buy a loaf. They're super affordable and Italian bakery quality.
