Two marquee shooting guards, both potential Eastern all-stars, go at each other.
Both Miller and Joe Dumars (Detroit Pistons) were selected as the guards for the Eastern all-star team which also featured first ever European player in German versatile forward Detlef Schrempf (Indiana Pacers).
After the 1992/93 regular season, and prior to his eventual death, Petrovic was voted in the 3rd All-NBA team as the New Jersey Nets leading scorer.
