Quite possibly the most popular theme in the history of music, La Follia* (literally 'folly' or 'madness') has intrigued nearly every major composer. But leave it to Vivaldi to take it to another level! Dr. Emre's new arrangement incorporates a wide range of techniques from double-trills, pizzicato to rasgueados and innovative fingering sequences to capture the spirit of Vivaldi's original ensemble version. (See the score for more information about capo usage and performing in the original key).
* Also known as La Folía (Spanish), folies d'Espagne (French) and Folia (Portuguese).
