We climbed Mera Peak after
We climbed Mera Peak after spending one additional day at Khare 4.950m to acclimatize and recover. The weather was superb, although there was a lot of snow on the days prior and the trail had only been broken the day before.
We got up to the summit as the first team of the day and had perfectly clear skies with views off all the mountains surrounding us - Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, Cho Oyu etc.
The climb was one of the best climbs I've ever done!!!
