How to place Flower Decor for the Petal Festival #faefarm
Mayor Merritt asks you to place 3 pieces of flower decor on your plot in preparation for the Petal Festival in Spring. Here's how I finished this part of the quest!

so you've been addicted to fae farm and have almost made it through your very first spring. But before the hot summer days arrive, we have to prepare for the Petal Festival! Mayor Merritt will give you a quest to purchase, plant, and pick 15 flowers. After you've completed this stage of the quest, the mayor asks you to help her prepare for the Petal festival by placing 3 flower decor items to help beautify the island before the festival!
Here's how I completed the final stage of Mayor Merritt's Petal Festival Quest.
It took me so long to figure out what items classify as "flower decor" when in reality, I had the recipe all along! When you're first finding your way around the island, you'll meet Eddy the fisherman. Right near his shop at the docks, you'll find a scroll with the recipe to build the Squid Vase! You can craft this vase with 5 pieces of plant fiber and 1 piece of glass. I just placed 3 of this vase on my plot and that's it! Go redeem the quest with Mayor Merrit and enjoy the spoils of your labor! She'll give you a stack of special seeds that bloom into a Fae flower!
I initially had a hard time figuring out how to complete this quest, so I have to give a big thanks to the Fae Farm reddit community for helping me solve this mystery.
