Instructions after dental implant surgery

Hello Friends,
Certain instructions should be followed after dental implant surgery for quick healing of surgical site :

1. Keep the cotton/gauze intact in its place for 20-25 minutes.
2. Have some ice cream or any cold foodstuff after removing cotton.
3. Apply ice packs externally 4-5 times in the first 24 hours.
4.  Do not spit for the first 24 hours.
5.  Avoid eating hot foodstuffs for the next 24 hours.
6. Avoid eating hard foodstuffs for 2-3 days after the procedure.
7. Brush your teeth very gently for 1-2 days.
8. Avoid smoking and alcohol for one week.
