In this episode, which is part of my series, ITALIAN CLASSIC MOVIES THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW, we reviewed BLACK SUNDAY (1960), which was directed by Mario Bava and starred Barbara Steele, John Richardson, Andrea Checchi, Ivo Garrani, Arturo Dominici & Enrico Olivieri.
My guest was Kelsey James, who wrote a novel inspired by Italian Giallo and Italian Horror films (especially Black Sunday) called "The Woman In The Castello".
Other inspirations are the book "My Life With Cleopatra: The Making Of A Hollywood Classic" by Joe Hyams and Walter Wanger, which was about the making of "Cleopatra", which starred Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
