Sandos Playacar is not five stars! I will never stay at this Playa Del Carmen hotel again!
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort is 45 minutes from the Cancun airport. Playacar is an exclusive gated community one mile south of downtown Playa Del Carmen. The Playacar region in Playa Del Carmen has some of the best hotels, beaches, and vibes in the Riviera Maya region.
One of the most popular hotels in Playa Del Carmen, Sandos Playacar Beach Experience Resort is an all-Inclusive hotel in Playa del Carmen with both family and adult sections. Sandos Playacar is ideally located on a magnificent white sandy beach in the gated community of Playacar, within walking distance to downtown Playa and Fifth Avenue.
After this stay, I wish I would've stayed longer at Riu Palace Mexico, or switched to Riu Tequila, or at least tried Sandos Caracol.
But I chose Sandos Playacar because of all of these features:
Beach: Drinks, games and relaxation on the area’s biggest beach.
The wide and extensive stretch of white sand beach lies next to the calm and clear Caribbean Sea: one of the best beaches in Playa del Carmen! Here, you’ll find volleyball, sand castles, Zumba lessons and simple relaxation. Agave Blue Bar offers beachside service with drinks and snacks in the mornings and afternoons. Food, drinks and the warm Caribbean sun, welcome to Mexico!
Adult Pool & Activities:
Exclusive amenities for adults and Select Club guests. Adults staying at the Sandos Playacar Beach Experience Resort are presented with a collection of activities and services for a more private stay. From an adults only gourmet restaurant to our large Select Club pool and swim-up bar, you’ll find it easy to escape routine.
Biking & Walking Paths:
Take a ride through the private community of PlayacarSituated on the southern edge of Playa del Carmen, the masterfully designed community of Playacar offers bikers, joggers and walkers the perfect spot to enjoy a stroll while admiring lush green jungle and Mayan ruins. A 10-minute bike ride will take you to exciting 5th Avenue, known for its restaurants, shopping, cafes and people watching.
Family Activities:
A little something fun for every member of the family. The resort’s assortment of family activities is sure to be enjoyed by all. Water, beach, nighttime and daytime activities come together to offer an unforgettable vacation experience.
