This backing track is inspired
This backing track is inspired by Dire Straits tune "Six Blade Knife" but it is in no way an exact backing track of that tune. The point of this track is to practice improvisation (aka soloing)! You can take the tried and true pentatonic approach, or you can engage in a little MODAL INTERCHANGE and try your hand at Dorian and Aeolian. Either way, this track is super fun to jam over! Listen to Mark Knopfler for inspiration, he is a finger picking BEAST!
