This is part 1 of 2, cutting some weed control access roads on the property.  On the farm, there is some steep country, making it difficult to access the property generally, but specifically when controlling noxious weeds.  This particular part is improving a road initiated last Fall, in preparation for cutting the next road section on the steeper parts.  The bulldozer is a 1953 Allis Chalmers model HD-20, running a General Motors 6-110 2 cycle diesel.  The transmission has 2 forward speeds and one reverse, driven by a torque converter (using diesel as the converter fluid).  The blade is cable operated, and manually adjustable in tilt and angle.  We call it the pink panther.  My dad is the operator.  As an aside, this tractor was used in Preston, Idaho (USA) for farmland leveling where dad, growing up, loved watching and listening to it.  Years later, it ended up on the farm here, and he operating it.
