R.I.P. Rutger Hauer (1944 – 2019)
The legendary actor Rutger Hauer, who portrayed Roy Batty in the original "Blade Runner", died almost a month ago, and he left us a humongous legacy with his career. In particular, he will always be remembered for his famous "Tears in Rain" monologue.
I wanted to honor his legacy with this montage of the two versions of "Tears in Rain" that appeared in the original movie and its sequel. The music that Vangelis created for that unforgettable scene is truly powerfull - and I hope that all these notes will not be lost in time, but that they will endure for the ages to come.
