Penguin Chick Swimming Lessons

A young African penguin chick is diving into his first swimming lessons behind-the-scenes at the San Diego Zoo's Africa Rocks Cape Fynbos habitat. The chick, along with another 2-month-old female, came from the Minnesota Zoo as part of the Species Survival Plan (SSP) for this endangered species.
