We get back to basics checking ignition timing by first off marking out the balancer and then hooking up the trusty strobe light.

Whilst the L67 powerplant had plenty of poke, it still felt a bit flat. A few power runs on the dyno showed an issue with ignition timing. While the scanner showed the timing we expected and reflected changes to the tune, there was no, none, zero change in power for drastic changes in timing +/- 10deg! SO, the only thing left was to confirm that the commanded timing from the ECU was actually getting to the ignition module.
