Robotic Bottle Unscrambler

Synapse has designed and built Unscrambling line for unique shaped non-symmetrical bottles that cannot be oriented through conventional unscramblers. The system comprises of a hopper and elevator conveyor followed by an oscillating linearizer unit. A 5MP vision system identifies the orientation of the bottles and provides the bottle co-ordinates to 3 ABB flexpicker robots.The robots pick and place the bottles to pucks which move through a timing screw. The system can handle several colours and 5 sizes of bottles. Changeover is mostly automatic with minor mechanical changes. ABB IRB 360 flexpicker robots utilizing the advanced ABB Pickmaster software simplifies the complex process of picking bottles in motion This system can be used for shampoo bottles, home care product bottles, pharmaceutical bottles and food product bottles
