'MRS. ROGER FEDERER left to do her husband's job'

Mrs Mirka Federer was left to pack the family's possessions onto a waiting trolley at Melbourne Airport Monday night as her husband sat inside his chauffeur driven Australian Open tournament vehicle.

The man of the house was too tired to help his wife and minders pack up their belongings after a month on the road playing tennis.

The 2017 Australian Open winners trophy helps as well as the cheque for $3.7 million but to leave your wife almost unassisted is not on.

Roger was keen to avoid commotion as the family prepared to board their Emirates flight to Dubai, so Mirka wheeled the bags to check-in, picked the passes for their first class trip then returned to grab her children.

Once the bags were headed for the Airbus A380, Mirka signalled to her husband it was time to enter the terminal and prepare for cameras.
