This recipe for artisan dinner rolls is so easy. You don't need any special equipment or skills. Just a few basic ingredients and some time!

Ingredients:
14 oz cool tap water
¼ tsp yeast
1 ½ tsp salt
3 ½ cups bread flour
All-purpose flour for dusting
Egg white
1 tsp water
Kosher salt

Pour water into a metal or glass bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and salt, stirring slightly. Add flour and stir together with the handle of a wooden spoon or spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 8-24 hours, whatever fits your schedule.
After the dough has rested, use the handle of your spoon or spatula to deflate and stir the dough together. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. If the dough is too sticky to handle, sprinkle the top with a little flour and dust your hands. Divide dough into 8 very large or 12 medium sized rolls. Shape each piece of dough into a rounded roll. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rise at room temperature for another hour.
15 minutes before you're ready to bake your rolls preheat your oven to 450°F. Whisk an egg white and 1 tsp of water together and brush over rolls. Sprinkle with kosher salt and snip each roll with scissors. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
