Windows 10 Start Menu

In this video I walk you through a step-by-step layout of the windows 10 desktop.

if you are familiar with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 this may not be so alien to you but for those who are used to the Windows 7 desktop,
there are some cool new features.

We start with Cortana which is the Microsoft version of Apple's Siri.
Then next to Cortana is task view which controls active desktops.
Next is what looks like the old Internet Explorer icon, which is now called Edge.

Briefly, I skimmed over the Action Center because this will be detailed in another video.

The last gadget on the task bar is the Peak at Desktop button

In this video, I split the start menu into three sections and then detailed each component.

I go on to explain what a Tile is and how to customise them.

another cool feature is if you right click on the Start button you get fast direct access to stuff like Event Viewer, Device Manager, Computer Management. There's even a command prompt with elevated permissions which stuff used to be buried deep in the Control Panel with earlier versions of Windows.

Finally I start to discuss the task bar's right click context menu.
