Here is the long-awaited video about ICON A5 - an iconic aircraft that attracts the attention of any aviation enthusiast all over the world.
And I got what it really means only after flying it!
ICON A5 is Tesla in the world of light and ultralight aircraft. Stylish and easy to control, it has a car dashboard.
This aircraft has a very good range and economy characteristics, but…it's too selfish.
It's a good plane when having only one pilot on board - no more. If flying with the friend or the second pilot, one will have to play with the weight of the fuel, reduce the range, etc.
One person can fly this aircraft at 80-90 knots for 320 miles. It's a perfect personal aircraft with the ability to land on water and on the ground, unpretentious to the pilot's abilities, not demanding on the length of the stripes and the state of the water surface. But ... it has no heating, no AC, no devices for 'blind flight'.
