1) To start, go to .com/servers and scroll down to server recommendations
2) Click on ‘Show available protocols’ under the suggested server
3) Download both the OpenVPN UDP and TCP configuration files
4) Log in to the Control Panel of your ASUS router by entering your Default Gateway IP address (usually 192.168.1.1)
5) Enter your username and password (if you haven’t changed your router’s settings, they will both be “admin”)
6) Go to VPN Configuration in the Advanced Settings menu
7) Click on the VPN client tab, select Add Profile, and open the OpenVPN tab
8) Fill in the name of the connection and your credentials
9) Click Choose File, select the downloaded UDP or TCP configuration file, and press Upload
10) In the VPN Client tab, click Activate on the created connection to link your router with

If you did everything correctly, you should see a blue checkmark in the Connection Status column. Success — you’re now connected to !

To disconnect, simply click on the Deactivate button next to the configuration. Keep in mind that you can only have one OpenVPN connection — if you want to set up another, you’ll have to remove or edit the existing one.
