This episode was released theatrically as part of the 1999 Summer Toei Anime Fair, a triple feature of animated films based on Takara properties. It was preceded by several clips, prominently from the episode "Grow Bigger" (大きくな～れ)  (aka "Optimal Situation"), to establish Convoy's new body.
The other two short movies included were "Super Doll Licca-chan" and "Microman".
