Tiki shows off her skills on the piano
2013 Update: In by far what has been perhaps one of the most difficult and unfortunate events I've had to deal with, Tiki sadly passed away a few weeks before I left for college. Her health rapidly declined over the course of a week and vets were unable to bring her out of her deteriorated state. She was put to sleep in my arms. Chinchillas normally live upwards of 10 to 15 years if not more, Tiki made it to 3. An internal infection of some sorts possibly due to genetics issues has been the most common reason given behind her death. I loved this lil gal with all my heart, and though she didn't make it as long as I would have liked to have seen her, I was happy to have been able to know her for the 3 years that I did.
