Adire / Batik is a
Adire / Batik is a traditional West African textile, particularly associated with the Yoruba people of Nigeria. It involves resist-dyeing techniques to create patterns on cloth. The name "Adire" means "tied and dyed," reflecting the methods used to produce it. Today I am in Nike Art Workshop in Osogbo Osun state to learn more about these processes and the people doing it.
