Snow falls at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Colorado

The race to be the first Colorado ski area to open for the winter season is on.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced it will open for the 2023/24 winter season on Sunday.

The Dillon ski area said when it opens it will operate seven days a week with mid-mountain to base skiing for skiers and riders on High Noon via the Black Mountain Express.
