Hello guys and girls, how are you? Welcome to a new incredible video about the next worldbox update, this time with more news than ever, let's get started:
Yesterday, the creator maxim karpenko published this photo, which was quite strange, and many of us believed that it was a fossil, but he did say that in the afternoon he would publish more things and that was the case.
Well, he revealed a new post in the Steam community tab called: Species, subspecies, biomes and you!
First of all they show us the image of which they gave us teasers, the one of the rocky biome, in this we can see what looks like a subspecies of dwarves walking through it and carrying pickaxes and some firewood, we also see quite a few black goats.
Then they tell us that: In this update, they will present species and subspecies as one of the new mechanics.
Every time a new creature is created, it will be assigned a subspecies.
(from what I understand, this will give rise to countless new species, it will be a lot of variety, something like cultures but much better)
Like other meta objects (such as cultures, kingdoms, wars), these can be seen on the minimap. And you can access their information and personalize them.
And they show us an image of what the rocky biome would be on the map and we can see the stones that stick out, but most importantly we see a part of the glass biome with a new subspecies which can make glass houses and they look quite different to other races we have seen.
