Navimag Ferry - Esperanza

According to the Navimag website, "a plane might get you to the south of Chile faster, but our ferry ride offers you an experience like no other." So we took the last scheduled sail of the Navimag boat named Esperanza from Pureto Montt to Puerto Natales for the 2023 season, a three-day, two-night journey. The departure date was set for March 8, 2023.

The ferry must pass the fjords’ narrowest strait in daylight by law. We arrived too late due to a delayed departure, so the ferry had to make an unscheduled overnight stop till the morning.

The drone footage was captured at 7 a.m. on 11 March 2023, just before the ferry set sail.
