Who is Maratha and Rajput or how they were formed? Maratha caste originated in the Dwapar era after the war of Mahabharata, Maratha caste was formed by Vyas sage, Shuk rishi, Vasishtha Rishi, Vamdev and other Sage Ganesha.The original descendents of the Maratha race are the Suryavansh. Or Marathasati was first known as Suryavanshi. Suryavansh was divided into two parts: 1. 2. Suryavanshi Kshatriyas of south-north started to be called Rajputs and the Suryavanshi Kshatriyas of the South started to be called Marathas. These two castes were known only as Suryavanshi before Kaliyug and today even the two surnames / Sarnem is the same as Rana, Rane, Bhosale, Shinde, Shishodiya, Shishode, Scindia, Thakur, Thakre, Rathod, Rashtrakut, Jagtap, Chauhan, Chavan Pawar, Parmar, Panwar, Jadhav, Jadoon, Pat Ruling, Solanki, Salunkhe, Nikumbh, Nikam, Nikumba, Deshmukh, Gaikwad, Bhagwat, Shekhawat, More, Morya, Jadhavrao, Ranasingh, Parihar etc. and many more. Rajapoota was built in 36 total and made Maratha 96 in total The nickname of which is more than thousand.
