Kalcine brings excerpts of Visions of Punjab TV show that came into existence when Joginder Kalsi completed a TV production course at Ryerson Polytechnic in 1980, and along with Iqbal Mahal launched Visions of Punjab, first ever Punjabi Language Program in Canada. First show was broadcast on Vaisakhi day 1981 from Rogers Cable Brampton. This was an effort by many volunteers and friends Narinder Chana, Jak Jarve, Greg Hamilton and technical producer Joe Giovanetti.. This show later moved to Scarborough Cable, there were nearly 12 volunteers, it ran for another 3 years, during Five years period approx 180 shows were taped, and we have the honor of taping Artists like Bibi Surinder Kaur, S. Mohindera, Gurdass Mann and many more, we are sharing some of the segments taped on that show, We hope you will like these archival footage.
