AGED TAPE - Generative Ambient Eurorack

This is my first attempt to upload a patch as a video. I created it mainly to go through the whole process of making a video. So not as much effort went into this project as I plan to in the future.

I've been putting together a system for generative music for three months now. In the end I also built the case myself.

I've been making electronic music for about 8 years now. For about 4 years exclusively with hardware. I have always been fascinated by the modular world. But I only recently took the plunge. I sold all my equipment in order to embark on this journey.

In this patch, the sequencing work is done by Marbles. Only the bass - generated by the Tiptop Audio Buchla 256t - is triggerd by the Melodicer. The main voice is Rings, which goes into the 4ms dual looping delay, Mutable Instruments Clouds and Qu Bit Databender. The Make Noise STO occasionally gets a trigger from the Intellijel Shifty and goes into the Strymon Magneto.

In Post I did some EQing, compression and saturation. On the master there is a cassette tape emulation and a limiter.
