Inside Look: 2022 NYU Baseball

The 2022 NYU Violets finished the season with a 19-13 overall record for their fifth consecutive winning season in their return to the field for the first time after 726 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NYU won 12 straight games to open the year for the second time ever (2018) and rounded out the campaign with an exciting 9-8 walk-off victory over crosstown rival St. Joseph's University (Brooklyn) on Senior Night.

Catcher Grant Berman and second baseman Jacob Singer landed on the First Team while third baseman Cam Dunn, outfielder Connor Roggero and pitcher John Gassler earned Second Team recognition.

As a team, NYU led the UAA in triples (17), stolen bases (97) and on-base percentage (.416) while ranking second in runs (275) despite playing the least amount of games in the league.
