Artisan from Delhi are busy in Making of a huge Ravana effigy
रावण ,का पुतले तैयार करने वाले कारीगरों को छद्म वेष में एक आशीर्वाद
हिंदुओं के प्रमुख दशहरा त्योहार में धू धू कर जलने वाले बुराई के प्रतीक रावण, मेघनाद और कुंभकर्ण के पुतलों को मुस्लिम समुदाय के कारीगर अपने हाथ से रूप दे कर कुछ इस तरह का एकता और भाईचारे का संदेश दे रहे हैं।
जब हम रावण के पुतले बनाने वाले कारीगर भाई के पास पहुंचे और नमस्कार की तो उन्होंने मुस्कुराते हुए हमारे प्रश्न से पहले ही जवाब दे दिया। भाई, बता दे। यहां दो समय की रोटी और कुछ समय के गुजारे के लिए नहीं आए। हम मुस्लिम है, इसीलिए हिंदू धर्म पर्व दशहरा में रावण बनाकर हिन्दू-मुस्लिम भाईचारे को बढ़ाना ही एकमात्र मकसद है। साथ ही हमारे पूर्वजों ने जो शिक्षा और हुनर सिखाया, उसी परम्परा को आगे बढ़ा रहे है।

The skeleton is covered using lots of paper and glue to make the skin. Then the painting of the effigies begins. They are generally painted in bright colours to make them attractive
The huge faces are then given further decorative details and facial features are added. When These Ravana heads are now ready to be placed on their tall effigies that are filled with gunpowder and firecrackers.
