Accepting the job that no one else wants, Evans tracks down Wade and prepares to deliver him to an Arizona prison. Complications arise when Wade's offer of $10,000 to let him go free has the rancher's wife begging her husband to take the money. Yet, the completion of his sworn duty becomes a matter of principle for Evans as he fights back repeated attacks by Wade's murderous henchmen to see that the outlaw is on the 3:10 train to Yuma.
