Since 2005 - Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge is 'ground zero' to Panama's World Class saltwater fishery! Get ready for a real “trip of a lifetime” as your group fishes with Capt. Shane Jarvis' veteran crew from our upscale “off the grid” sport fishing lodge. Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, and over 20 more gamefish species are regularly caught in the waters surrounding our lodge! We are located 12-miles off the Pacific coast on the undeveloped jungle island of Isla Parida, inside Panama's Chiriquí National Marine Park, in the heart of the Gulf of Chiriqui.
Although remote, we offer very comfortable upscale island accommodations for up to 20 anglers with all the amenities such as Air Conditioning, Hot Water, and High Speed Internet service. Our private guest houses, amazing seaside dining room, gorgeous white sand beaches and beach bars, and beautiful tropical landscaped property carved into the jungle make our boutique lodge the perfect sportsman's retreat. Exquisite gourmet food, prepared by our personal Chefs, and friendly personalized service from our staff will make you feel right at home.
We operate FOUR top-of-the-line 33' World Cat and Freeman catamaran fishing boats outfitted with only the best in fishing gear and equipment. No trolling lures all day in a diesel boat with us! We specialize in a 'run and gun' style of hands on fishing to try and provide constant action for our anglers. Whether it's live baiting, dead bait, jigging, popping, casting swim baits, trolling plastics, bottom fishing, or deep dropping our Captains are able to switch up to whatever style of fishing the client wants or is required to catch fish.
In addition, our island location means shorter runs to the Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, and Dorado action offshore at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa, with some epic inshore fishing right at our doorstep. No other fishing lodge in Panama can say that!
