so back in 2020 disney officially announced that they were making an aladdin 2. however, it seems like things have been pretty hush-hush since then which has left a lot of us wondering if it's actually going to happen. if the sequel does happen, it's expected that many of the original cast members, like mena massoud, naomi scott, and navid negahban, will make a comeback. But there's a big question mark when it comes to will smith and whether he'll be back as the genie. fingers crossed for some good news soon!
