Beach Day for Faith

Unfortunately it is the worst possible news for Faith, I’m very sorry to say.

The results came back and she has a very aggressive cancer that has rapidly spread throughout her body.

Days left, maybe if we’re lucky a couple of weeks, is all we have left with her.

Today after picking her up from the vet we took her and Hope to the beach. They ate BBQ chicken.

Then came home to be with her friends at the farm.

She is her happiest with the pack in the big paddock. She gets a skip in her step and her tail wags. She has a play with some of the dogs. Of all the places, this is where she feels free and safe.

We’ve decided to keep her comfortable with pain medication and try to give her a few great days before she is in too much pain. When that time comes, we hope we will know.

We’ve also decided to adopt Faith. She doesn’t deserve to leave this world not having been adopted. Without a forever home of her own and a family. It feels important to us to do this.

She will be surrounded by love; two and four legged.
