Crafted exclusively for the PlayStation 5 by the South Korea-based studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade features rapid action within a post-apocalyptic backdrop. The game's vibrant combat and breathtaking graphics herald a new era of gaming, while also honoring the influences that shaped it. IGN Japan had the opportunity to discuss these inspirations with the creators.

Players, embodying the character Eve, execute elaborate combos and adeptly anticipate enemy moves, employing timely parries and dodges to exploit weaknesses for counterattacks. Kim Hyung-tae, the developer, shared with IGN that action titles like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Bayonetta played a significant role in inspiring the team's creative process.
