Lava overruns the rim to the east of the Switchbacks on Route A. September 17, 2021

Here is another "just the video" video that I shot today.  The lava has overrun the berm right near the top of the Switchbacks on Route A.  Gutn Tog and Nina had some great footage of that from last night, and I was able to see it all during the day.  Very interesting stuff.  I hope I make it back to Route A before the lava overruns it completely, but I doubt I will.  The lava is building very quickly and very high.
