The 2017 Suzuki Swift is good to drive, inexpensive to buy and in possession of a spunky but unassuming charm. The Suzuki Swift has always been the smart man’s hatchback, and this new third-gen car aims to take things to the next level.
On the surface it’s still obviously a Swift, though it now features a sleeker, smarter appearance, but it’s what lies beneath the bodyshell that’s the most interesting.
For a start, it’s built on Suzuki’s new light-but-strong underpinnings, it’s got plenty of modern kit inside and it now comes with a range of new powertrains, including the marvellous Boosterjet engine and even a mild hybrid version.
