the golden grain has long been considered one of the best carp catching baits there is.
how ever buying your own unprepared maize and giving it your own tweak can really give you an edge,
my secret ingredient is pink rock salt, this seems to really get the carp interested pre-spawning. then after spawning i would use lots of hemp oil in the hot summer months.
