In this episode of SCAMFISH, we talk to a retired military intelligence officer, Lea, about her experience on getting scammed out of $25,000 on OKCupid. Her husband passed away from cancer, and she was looking for companionship when she met McMillan on OKCupid. He claimed that he was stuck in the Gulf of Mexico and he ran out of supplies to finish his work so that he could go home. He would then ask Lea for money consistently to fund the work he was doing at the Gulf of Mexico so that he could go home and see her.
